Top City Building Games on Android in Nigeria: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the city building genre on Android saw varied performance across the top games in Nigeria. According to Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at the trends for the leading apps.

Super City: Building Master by XGame Global showed a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 726 in early April and peaking at 1.7K by the end of June. The weekly active users also followed an upward trend, increasing from 914 to approximately 3.6K.

Transport Tycoon Empire: City maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 727 and 1.1K throughout the quarter. Active users displayed a similar stability, hovering around the 2.5K mark.

Global City: Building Games experienced a notable increase in revenue, reaching $185 in early June. Downloads spiked to 1.7K towards the end of June, while active users peaked at 4.6K in the same period.

SimCity BuildIt from Electronic Arts saw varied weekly downloads, peaking at 796 in late June. Revenue showed some fluctuation, with a high of $94 in April and around $64 at the quarter's end. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.4K.

Gold Rush: Frozen Adventures by SayGames Ltd had a steady increase in downloads, reaching 832 in early June. Active users also increased, peaking at 2.3K during the same time.
